Assembly:
Monday's meeting was an assembly, chaired by Margaret Chigas. She gave the following report.
The club hopes to have two CDs it produced a few years ago replayed on Channel 3.
Margaret mentioned that Kathy Chase had created a membership plan. Part of it was to have Jon Sevigney contact the Interact Club at Wells High. Tim Roche, in attendance, reported on the various activities the club had undertaken, saying they hoped to do one project a month. He said the club had 30 members.
The club has sent a power point presentation about the club to the town for posting on the town's website.
The Wells PTSA has asked the club to handle the food concession at its May 23 event at Harbor Park.
Under new business, the board voted to undertake a beautification project upon completion of road work at the Route 1-109 intersection.
Kathy has asked Billy Hobbs if he would host the annual holiday party. Margaret did not know the outcome of that request as yet.
The club has doubled the amounts of scholarships we provide to WHS and YCCC students.
Finally, Margaret complimented the previous four presidents and club members for the perseverance they showed in successfully completing the pavilion project.
