Last week's Speaker
Stillman Bradish of the Molly Corporation spoke of how he started his business in Ogunquit. His business associate's granddaughter's name is Molly, thus the building of the first Molly Trolley. His trolleys are now located through the United States and Canada, and is currently working on an order of trolleys for Nashua, New Hampshire. All new model trolleys have to be tested in a Pennsylvania facility. Stillman passed around pictures depicting the building of a trolley. The bigger variety of trolley seats up to158 passengers. The trolleys can be fitted with V-8, propane, CNG, or diesel engines. His facility accommodates working on 6 trolleys at a time and produces as many as 40 trolleys/year. Stillman invited everyone to tour his factory and then took questions from the audience.
Thought for the Week
Government is like a baby. An alimentary canal with a big appetite at one end and no sense of responsibility at the other.
