Assembly Meeting
Kathy Chase announced that the club should be proud to be in the top 10 in the district for the Rotary Foundation.
Tour
Howard Hall spoke about Sea Glass. The cottages have been redesigned and are a little nicer than the Summer Village cottages. They range in price from $159,000 to $189,000. He then led us on a tour of the community building which includes a large meeting room with stage and movie projector, the lovely reception room with large stone fireplace, a library/card room, bar, health club, and indoor pool room. There is a large patio area outside with swimming pool, a pool that you can swim in ocean-like waves, and a hot tub spa.
Strawberry Festival
Kathy Chase thanked everyone who volunteered for making the festival a success. She also thanked Jim and Jeannine Spiller for the generous use of their business area, food supply and paper goods, thanked Billy and Anna Spiller for their strawberries and hayrides, and thanked Dick and Janet Johnson for their musical contribution. Billy Hobbs, chairman of the event, again thanked everyone and reported that although not all the expense money was counted, he thought we would net about $2000 for the event.
Treasurer's Report and Senior Center contribution

Our budget is in line and also included some surplus money. A $1000 check was presented to the Center as a donation toward a matching grant for a generator for the Well/Ogunquit Senior Center. The generator will allow the center to stay open in case of emergency, in particular, in a power outage as a warming center. The remaining surplus funds will be rolled over into next year's budget.
Beautification Project
Dennis Hardy said that the clock alone (12', 4-sided pedestal clock) was going to cost $18,000, so the total project would be between $20.000 and $22,000. Terry Hodskins has applied for a grant.
