Updates and speaker

 

The golf tournament has been scheduled for September 24th.  Watch for emails and invitations to come.    We will need all hands on deck to help with volunteers, golfers, auction items and sponsors.

 

Harbor Fest is scheduled for July 31st and Danielle would like the club to participate. More information to come.

 

The club is now looking for new - additional storage for our supplies.  Please contact Rick if you have space or suggestions.

 

Rick announced a Rotarian of the year award.  This years recipient is Deb LaPointe and thanked her for her work to organize so many service projects this year.

 

Before handing the meeting over to Danielle, Rick thanked everyone for their hard work this year despite the Pandemic.  He encouraged everyone to be open minded, open to change and be as supportive as possible for Danielle.

 

Danielle then got up to share her vision and goals for the coming year.  Her top goals include finding a permanent location for meetings, increase membership, and research a change in the day that we meet.

 

She also is looking for the club to hold the mystery dinner, charter night, golf and possibly an awards night.  She is focused on re-branding and marketing the club in the months to come.
