Happy Dollars

Rick was happy about his recent trip to England and Scotland.  He was additionally happy that his golf clubs arrived with him so he could play a little golf while there.

Danielle was just happy.

Nate joined in on Danielle’s happiness and his upcoming 6th wedding anniversary on Saturday.  A little extra excitement to be celebrating with no kids!

Naomme was happy to report that the concrete work is done at her son’s house.  Hurray!

Scott was happy about an upcoming concert that he would be attending on Friday.  He was also happy about Danielle’s upcoming birthday on Sunday.  Happy Birthday, Danielle!

50/50: Sorry Scott, you are not a winner this time!  :)

Announcements/Upcoming Events
The 8th Annual Wells Harbor Festival will be held on Saturday, August 13th.  The Wells IGA has generously agreed to donate food and drinks.  Lee Hansen, Bob Foley, and Doug Bibber will pick up the necessary equipment (i.e. tables, grills, coolers, etc.) from the Chamber of Commerce.  Lee will also allow the use of some of his equipment to help out.  Cathy Hanson has agreed to volunteer.  Thank you, Cathy and Lee!
Marianne Foley will sell Big Daddy’s ice cream donated by Melanie Tromblee (Ogunquit Rotarian) beginning at noon.
It should be a busy day as we will be the only food vendor this year.
A sign up has been distributed via email utilizing SignUpGenius.  Please check your email or let Danielle or Naomme know your volunteer availability.  Many hands are need through the day and to break everything down at the end of the day.

23rd Annual Chuck Cumming Memorial Golf Tournament:  The tournament will be held on September 19, 2022.  Pamphlets for Sponsorships have been mailed.  Please let Danielle know if you should need any pamphlets to distribute.  Arrangements are underway to have a golf ball air canon at one of the holes.  How fun!  We are looking for donations to the silent auction.  Scott has donated a movie night at the hotel with popcorn and drinks.  Thank you, Scott!   We ask that all Rotarians aid with auction items by each donating a basket with item(s) with a minimum value of $25. This is our largest event of the year.  Please save the date as all hands will be needed.
