Updates:
Members discussed the possibility of having a Xmas party on the 15th. Various locations were discussed and Danielle will get back to the club with a final decision.
Eleanor reminded everyone that the Christmas parade is scheduled for Sunday December 12th and the parade begins at the Wells Plaza. Rotary will be looking for a few members to march in the parade.
Deb announced that a new date for the day of warming would be set since there are too many conflicts. She will be reaching out to the Senior Center to get options.
Sally Manion reached out to Danielle to see if the club could make a donation to help support military families who work at the shop yard and are struggling during the holidays. The clob voted to donate up to $1,000 or what ever the amount is that we have in the budget for holiday spending.
Rick reported that he is currently working with the owners of “For the love of food and drink” as they open their new location on Route one closer to Ogunquit. They have a space which we could use for future club meetings and it is proposed to be on Thursdays for lunch. Rick will be back to Danielle and the board soon on the final arrangements,
Merry Christmas
Happy Kwanzaa
And best wishes to those who celebrated
