  1. President Rick announced that Danielle DeFelice will be the incoming President for the 2021/2022 Rotary year!  Congratulations and thank you Danielle!

  1. Doug Bibber (a/k/a Onion Breath Bibber) discussed the possibility of conducting the Vidalia Onion Sale this year.  The pandemic prohibited us from having it last year, but Doug believes that we know more about what we can do to safely run the program this year.  Doug will send our a “market survey” to those that ordered 2 years ago to determine the interest in having the sale this year.  He is hoping to have an answer by the board meeting.

  1. “Day of Warming” at the Wells/Ogunquit Senior Center is this Saturday, March 6, 2021.  All those that have volunteered should arrive at 11am. with their Rotary aprons.  Eleanor will contact Gloria Charlton to determine if she needs assistance for prep on Friday, March 7.  Eleanor and Danielle are able to assist.

  1. A question about whether or not we have any “blank” aprons came up.  Deb will check with Suzanne Ilsley to determine if Terry’s daughter found the box of aprons.

  1. Deb Lapointe created a template for updates on the “new and improved” Rotary web site which will be mirrored on our Facebook page.  Deb updated the web site and will continue to add new content and Danielle will continue with the posts to the Facebook page.  Danielle will look into changing the contact information for our Twitter account and will set up an Instagram account for the Club.

This weeks speaker
This week our club speaker was fellow Rotarian Deb LaPointe.  On March 15th and March 22nd, Deb will be facilitating a Strategic planning session to help the club chart out our goals and the future of the club.  Focus will be on driving membership and enhancing our branding and marketing strategies.  During the two day session, club members will participate in a SWOT analysis which is an exercise in identifying Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

They will also discuss initiatives for membership, marketing and branding and lastly club service.  We encourage all members to participate in this session so that everyone's voice can be heard.  Meeting will be held at 111 Chapel Road, ( Doug Bibber's venue) and both meetings will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.  Be sure to watch for the calendar invite.  Covid 19 modified seating will be provided to keep everyone 6 feet apart...be sure to bring your masks!
